Privacy policy
Privacy policy
This policy is being finalised before the website launches.
Who is responsible for your information
This website, leongreenwood.com, is operated by Leon Greenwood under his own name. Leon is responsible for the personal information collected through it. For any question about this policy or your information, email bookings@coachgreenwood.co.uk.
What information is collected
When you send a speaking enquiry through the form on the Book Leon page, the details you enter are collected: your name, organisation and email address, the type of event, and, if you choose to give them, the event date, location, audience size, what you would like the audience to take away and anything else you add. If you email bookings@coachgreenwood.co.uk directly, your email and its contents are received in the same way.
No other personal information is collected through the website, and the website does not use analytics or advertising tracking.
How it is used
Your information is used to respond to your enquiry, discuss a possible speaking engagement and, if you go ahead, arrange and manage the booking. It is not sold, and it is not used for marketing without your agreement.
Lawful basis
Responding to an enquiry you have chosen to send is in Leon’s legitimate interests and yours. Where an enquiry leads to a booking, information is used to take steps towards, and then carry out, the agreement. Some booking records are kept to meet legal and accounting obligations.
Who receives it
The website is hosted by Netlify, which also receives enquiry form submissions and forwards them to bookings@coachgreenwood.co.uk. Netlify, and the provider that hosts that inbox, process your information on Leon’s behalf. Your information is not shared with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for up to 12 months after the last relevant communication. Information about confirmed bookings is kept for as long as necessary to manage the engagement and to meet legal, accounting and contractual obligations.
Videos
The homepage background video and the Lidl testimonial videos are hosted on this website itself; playing them does not involve any other company. The other videos (the showreel, documentaries and campaign film) are YouTube videos embedded in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Their preview images are loaded from YouTube’s image servers when the page opens, which means Google receives your IP address; no YouTube player is loaded at that point. When you press play, your browser loads YouTube’s player from youtube.com and youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube (Google) may then store information on your device and collect information about your viewing, under Google’s privacy policy.
Fonts
This website uses fonts from Google Fonts. To display them, your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies or store information in your browser. The only exception is YouTube, as described above, which may do so once you choose to play one of its videos.
International transfers
Google, which provides Google Fonts and YouTube, and Netlify, which hosts the website and receives form submissions, may process information in the United States and other countries outside the UK, under the safeguards described in their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to ask for it to be transferred. To make a request, email bookings@coachgreenwood.co.uk.
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
